Parents and friends of St. Andrews should be reassured to know that in line with Welsh Assembly Government guidelines, the governing body has drawn up a Swine Flu action plan.
This has involved thinking through the decision-making process in the event of any swine flu-related incident, precautionary measures implemented in the school to promote good hygiene, and under what circumstances a decision could be made to close and subsequently re-open the school.
As I'm sure you are aware, the situation is fluid and the government strategy is changing accordingly. Please be reassured that as a school we will be guided by government and local government recommendations and will do everything possible to safeguard the health and well-being of the children and staff of St. Andrews.
